Ron Davis

Ron Davis - Dog Trainer -
Ron, was born and raised in Santa Monica, CA and loves the ocean, surfing and skateboarding, but his true passion in working with dogs. In 2008 Ron and his English bulldog, Tillman, (The World's Fastest Skateboarding Dog) were discovered and invited on the CBS reality show Greatest American Dog. Though they didn't win, Ron launched a career in dog training. He currently works for Natural Balance Pet Food's developing their famous team of action sports bulldogs to skateboard, snowboard and surf. His training philosophy is the more you put into it the more you get out of it, and since he currently has 3 successful skateboarding bulldogs, he has carved out a real niche. He and his dogs have appeared on The Today Show, Good Morning America, CBS, FOX, ESPN, Fuel TV, and have performed in three Rose Parades, the 2010 Winter Olympics, as well as events with The Mets, Dodgers, Rangers, Angels and Giants. In addition to his three dogs, Tillman, Rose and Sully he has a 12-year-old son, Reef. They currently live in Oxnard where they enjoy surfing, skateboarding, tennis, and volleyball.

Karen Cobb

Karen was born and raised on Long Island. She moved to Florida and Graduated from the University of Miami with a degree in Video/Film production and graphic design. She worked briefly at an ABC affiliate doing graphics for live news, but after rescuing her first dog Smokey, a Shiba Inu, she discovered that her real love was training dogs. She married the love of her life Chris and moved to Atlanta, Georgia, where she started a Shiba Inu Rescue in Georgia and opened her own dog training company, Courteous Canine. She began doing in home private lessons handling issues from housebreaking & basic obedience to aggression problems. Her Shiba Inus, which are known to be difficult to train, became the top winning Shibas in the United States. When Karen found Norman, she decided it would fun to teach some unique tricks, that she had not seen done before. Norman learned to wipe his feet when entering the house, wipe his beard after a drink and of course, he learned to ride his scooter. The Cobb family which also includes animal lover Kaylee, 9 and hot rod loving Bryson 6, just finished an 8 month tour around the USA and Canada, where Norman showed off his scootering skills.

Dick Van Patten has been acting since he was a child. He made his first of 27 Broadway appearances at age seven in Tapestry in Grey. Since then, he has appeared in many films including Freaky Friday (with Jodie Foster) Robin Hood: Men in Tights and Space Balls. His TV credits include his starring role on the hit 70's comedy-drama Eight is Enough, where he played Tom Bradford - the patriarchal head of the pack.

Dick is also the author of several best-selling books including How To Get Your Child Into Show Business and the biographical Eighty Is NOT Enough!

In 1989, Dick Van Patten co-founded Natural Balance Pet Foods, a line of high-end all-natural dog and cat foods which today are available across the United States at Petco and Independent Pet stores and also worldwide.

Dick is married to former 'June Taylor Dancer' Pat Poole and recently celebrated his 57th wedding anniversary.

Jimmy Van Patten followed in the footsteps of his father Dick Van Patten as a professional actor. He literally grew up starring in many television series and in over 30 feature films.

Recently, he has appeared in the popular horror film franchise, "SAW," reprising his character of Dr. Heffner in"SAW4," "SAW 5," "SAW 6," and "SAW 7 - THE FINAL CHAPTER in 3D."

Jimmy also wrote "THE FLUNKY THE MUSICAL" collaborating with Debbie Gibson (who co-wrote the music). "THE FLUNKY" is a very funny and exciting musical comedy that is headed for the Broadway stage. Jimmy is also the spokesman for his father's company, Dick Van Patten's Natural Balance Pet Foods.

In his free time, Jimmy enjoys surfing, hiking and playing tennis.

Lexi, was born and raised in New York City, NY. She graduated from Davidson College with a BA in Fine Arts. Her parents were both successful entrepreneurs, so it was no surprise when Lexi founded her own jewelry company, Neckisses by Lexi, 8 years ago. She managed and operated all aspects of the business and developed a knack for business planning and branding. Lexi now lives in Venice beach with her four legged son, puppy 'Wally' (a 10 week old future star). Lexi was hired during the 2009 Rose Parade auditions to be a trainer for the NB bulldog team. When it comes to training, her philosophy is to communicate or "talk" with the animals. While she doesn't believe a dog can actually talk in human words, she does believe that every dog has a passion waiting to be discovered, it's just a matter of hearing what they are trying to say. Having grown up with three bulldogs, Lexi has a true love and understanding for the breed. And, although, Lexi doesn't skateboard, snowboard or surf, she is an avid tennis player and athlete, one who once won the bronze medal in the NY State Junior Olympics. In addition to her business pursuits, Lexi also enjoys writing a blog about her life as a Hollywood Pet Mom.

Eric, is a 21 year old star in the making that is currently making it by working as Tillman's very own personal assistant. Eric was born September 26, 1989. Throughout his childhood, the Presnall home was constantly surrounded by music. His father, a singer and musician, always played and Eric loved watching him perform in front of the family. However, it wasn't until at the age of eight where he was introduced to his first real taste in performing arts. He joined his family on a trip to San Francisco to see The Phantom of the Opera at the Orpheum Theatre, which was starring Brad Little, still Eric's favorite actor in Musical Theatre. From that point on, he became involved in all areas of musical theatre. He started working with dance and voice instructors, as well as auditioning for musicals. His first audition was for Grease with the El Dorado Musical Theatre. To his surprise, he got cast as the lead role of Danny Zucko, which launched an undeniable future in performing arts. He has been in the touring company of 'High School Musical' for Disney. Eric also has had a career in acting on film, He has already appeared in: , Power and Pride, Clown Town, The Long Day, F.U.B.A.R, Xtra Space, Anxiety, Hatched, Case No. 109, A Lack of Color and Mirror Man.

He is hoping that being Tillman's assistant will be his 'really big break'.

Steve was born in Canoga Park, CA. The son of Buddy Clark, Grammy Award winning Jazz Bassist, he grew up in Granada Hills while attending John F. Kennedy High School. He later attended College of the Canyons. He found his true passion singing; at age five Steve performed in a Christmas special on the Lawrence Welk Show. He sang "Rag Time Cowboy Joe" while sitting on Lawrence's lap next to his Dad who played the bass. A self taught drummer, Steve started playing drums at age 11, and has been in several rock bands - the latest of which is "Subtle Mayhem". He also enjoys hang gliding! Steve is married to Liana Clark, and the proud father to 5 children. Steve joined Natural Balance Pet Foods in 1996 as a product demonstrator. Three years later he became the delivery truck driver, and in 2009 he moved to the sales department. In 2010 Steve was selected to drive the skateboarding team of Bulldogs to their events (The Winter Olympics & NYC Mets Bark in the Park) in the "Tillman RV". Steve tends to be a Nervous Nelly, and the smallest crisis can make him sweat bullets. He is overly cautious, and will lock a door even if he doesnt have the key to open it back up. Steve takes his job seriously, and when combined with four bull dogs, almost anything can happen.

John Fulton

John Fulton - WLTDO Show Host
John Fulton hails from Topsfield, MA and has lived in LA since 2000. Graduating from University of Rhode Island with a BA in Music Performance, John has composed a variety of songs, from comedy with The Fresh, music for TV and Film to his renowned kitty ditties. He got his TV break when he became the host of MUST LOVE CATS for Animal Planet and wrote over 75 songs including the theme song which he later won Song of the Year from The Soup. John has also been featured on America's Cutest Pet, Cats 101, The Puppy Bowl and The Tonight Show. Combining his love for animals, TV and music, he's excited to now host Who Let the Dogs Out for the Hallmark Channel.

Karen "Doc" Halligan

 

Karen "Doc" Halligan Renowned veterinarian, author, and celebrity spokesperson Karen "Doc" Halligan has developed a distinguished veterinary medical career while establishing herself as a national authority on animals. She was a sought-after pet health expert and featured spokesperson in the media during the pet-food recall crisis and provided veterinary care at ground zero in Louisiana in the aftermath of Hurricane Katrina.

Doc Halligan is the author of the award-winning book Doc Halligan's What Every Pet Owner Should Know: Prescriptions for Happy, Healthy Cats and Dogs (HarperCollins, 2007) and has authored numerous articles for PARADE magazine and other media. She has appeared regularly on television on the Katie Couric show, Doctors, Bonnie Hunt Show, Kelly and Michael, the Today Show, the Mike and Juliet Show, iVillage Live, Dr. Drew's Lifechangers, The Insider, CBS Early Morning Show, Fox and Friends, Dog Tales, Animal Rescue 911 and Extra TV.

In addition to being a skilled surgeon in spay/neuter techniques; she was the director of veterinary services for the spcaLA for over twelve years and is an expert in animal-cruelty, having prepared in excess of over one hundred cases for trial as well as testifying as an expert witness. Additionally, she has presented lectures to law enforcement on the successful use of forensics in animal cruelty prosecution. For the past three years, she has served on the board of directors of the American Red Cross of Santa Monica and is currently developing emergency service protocols for pet owners that can serve as a national model.
